  1. Johnny

I love Isla Mujeres, and plan to spend more time here on next time I visit. By far the best experience we had in Mexico!

  2. Dane M.

Really great tour. The snorkeling was awesome, and the crew made the whole trip a lot of fun!

  3. Elisa

Easily my favorite day of the entire trip! Isla Mujeres was just beautiful. Thank you!

  4. Mark

Great trip, you get a lot for the price. Loved Isla Mujeres, it was one of the nicest beaches I’ve been to.

  5. Alicia Fabian

This tour although it says from Playa Del Carmen actually leaves from a dock in Cancun. I later found out that all of the boat tours to Isla Mujeres depart from Cancun but just felt that could have been more clear.

That aside the actual tour itself was very nice. It’s everything that you would expect from a fun boat trip to a Caribbean island. Just be prepared for a 45 minute van transport to and from Cancun.

  6. Brandon

The crew was very friendly and kept us entertained the whole time. One of the best trips I’ve had in Mexico!

  7. Marcella

We decided to book this trip for the 4th of July and it turned out awesome. We had unlimited drinks on the boat and the lunch was right on the beach. Highly recommend!

  8. Brandon

Awesome day on the water! The crew was great, and kept everyone entertained the whole trip.

  9. Hanna

OMG this was on of the best days of my life. Definitly the Carribean Sea is special. This tour was fun and exciting.

  10. David Moore

This was an amazing way to end our year. My boyfriend and I has a blast on this beautiful island.

  11. James Preston

All the beaches in the Caribbean are pretty, but the ones at Isla Mujeres are stunning. Plus the open bar. This is everything you need right here.

  12. Jessica L

Isla Mujeres is one of the most beautiful places that I have ever been. Or maybe the open bar was so good that everything looked perfect. Either way me and my friends really enjoyed the day.

  13. Emma Smith

The lunch was delicious and the under water museum was AMAZING.

  14. Janice

Really enjoyed the tour, and Isla Mujeres was a beautiful island! I might even stay there next trip. True Caribbean feel.

  15. Cynthia

There is an open bar on the boat! Be careful, that’s all I can say. I think my group had a little too much fun. Let’s just say round trip transport was a welcomed addition to the trip. Aside from the boozin Isla Mujeres was beautiful. I can’t recommend this enough!

  16. Elizabeth Miller

Really enjoyed this tour. By far my favorite day of the trip.

  17. Jonathan

Absolutely loved Isla Mujeres! Can’t wait to come back and visit again.

  18. Chris

Had a great trip to the island. The food and drinks were great, but Isla Mujeres beaches are up there with the most beautiful I have ever seen. I might even stay at Isla Mujeres next trip. Highly recommend this one!

  19. Jeremy

Awesome tour, very friendly crew! Highly recommend if you want to try snorkeling and visit Isla Mujeres.

  20. Rudy

Booked a couple tours with Wonderous World while in Playa. Isla Mujeres was definitely one of the funner ones. Excellent crew, and lots of fun people on the boat. Snorkeling at the underwater museum was my favorite part. Two thumbs up!

  21. Jason

Came down with some friends for a bachelor party and took this day trip over to Isla Mujeres. We had an awesome time, the crew on the boat was great and kept the drinks coming. The island was beautiful, it had a much more Carribean feel to it than Playa Del Carmen. Highly Recommend!

We booked the Cancun Sailing Catamaran trip to Isla Mujeres. There were 4 of us and we had a wonderous day!! We had an 8:20 am pick up from our Playa del Carmen resort and more than an hour’s ride to the marina. I would have liked (in the confirmation email) some information on where to go when we arrived at the marina-this area was very busy and since I had not received any information (not even from the van driver) on where to pay my balance, our group stood around, unsure of where to go. I finally figured it out, got in the line, paid quickly, and received our boarding passes. We saw several really large groups leaving, but our group was a smaller one, thankfully. I saw the group leaders coming out from the building with signs with group names, so when I saw our color group sign, we walked to the edge of the pier where the color was announced-so we had our choice of where to sit. We took off our shoes to board and each time we got off the cat, they brought our shoes to the dock. There was a photographer onboard who took pictures of passengers and toward the end of the day, he presented very high quality images and a very cool item with a picture for sale for a pretty good price. I was a bit worried when arriving because the payment area rep said we might not get to go to the under water museum due to winds, but our first stop was indeed snorkeling at the museum. It was very nice-but watch carefully for jellyfish. They supply fins, masks, and snorkels, but we had our own masks and snorkels. After we were back on the cat, we could indulge in alcoholic drinks, and the staff made sure everyone had plenty of delicious drinks (mine was delicious rum punch) with options of beer and other mixed drinks. We stopped at a nice club for about an hour with a small beach for lunch-all you can eat and drink. Food was very tasty. Back to the boat again, and a short ride to another pier-picked up our marina armbands (these are paid for at arrival.) We shopped in the area before renting a golf cart. We drove around a bit and found a beautiful beach. The golf cart rental could be for one hour or two, but we only had a total of 2 hours, so we only rented for 1 hour. We met the cat again and reboarded for a leisurely ride back to Cancun. Drinks were served throughout and the staff was awesome-very friendly and professional. The cat was very nice- the day was absolutely perfect with amazing weather and incredible views. The photographer did a terrific job and we are extremely happy with our photos. We arrived back at the marina about 6:45 and there were drivers waiting for groups that were arranged by the operators according to the areas where people were staying. The ride back was longer for us than the ride there had been. It was dark by the time we got back to the resort. The day was long, but it was a lot of fun. I highly recommend this fabulous trip.

  23. DJ

Absolute fun trip!!! Beautiful island, fun catamaran ride with wonderful service by the crew, just loved it!!

  24. Steve

We booked this excursion two days ahead of time and were so glad we did. We were on Spring Break so the catamaran was full of college students having a great time. My wife and I are older but we had the time of our life. Lili was our guide and she was the best. She gave instructions in English, Spanish, and French. The music played by our captain, Victor, was great and led to an impromptu dance party. This is one of the best excursions we have been on and I highly recommend it. Isla Mujeres is a must see when in the area. We had plenty of time to eat lunch and tour the Playa Norte area. The snorkeling at the underwater museum was a little rough because there are so many people but everything else was awesome. Be ready to have an endless supply of tequila on this trip! Please, if you want an excursion to remember, book this trip.

  25. Carmen albu

    Very nice tour!!!a must go!!!

  26. Bernita

We were happy with the tours we booked. The Isla Mujeres tour and the Chichen Itza tour. Both were pretty good for good price. Would recommend.

  27. Pat

Good trip, no issues. Fun day in the sun.

  28. Wanda

Me and my family had a great time. Would recommend.

  29. Kerry

I would say besides Chichen Itza a catamaran tour to Isla Mujeres is the other must do thing while in the Riviera. We had a blast! My wife freaked out a bit getting into the water to snorkel but one of the guides grabbed her floaty thingy and held it for her until she got confortable in the water. After that she had a great time though. The beach where we ate was beautiful. After lunch we just chilled out on the white sandy beach and sipped a couple drinks. The entire time drinks are flowing so you never get thirsty. I would suggest bringing your own biodegradable sunblock though cause it was super spendy at the dock. We rented a golf cart quick from one of the shops near the dock in Isla Mujeres and zipped around the island a little. Such a cool little town! Overall had a great time with my wife. Only complaint was checking in at the dock and paying our tour balance was a bit crazy and with so many people we got a little confused as to where we were supposed to be going. Guess there is so many boats leaving at the same time.

  30. Paul

Hands down our favorite time on our trip to Mexico! All day tour and an all day good time. Plenty of drinks to go around all day also. Lunch was at a nice beach and pretty good.Other then then that just a beautiful day. Oh and the snorkeling at the underwater museum was pretty awesome too! No complaints here, would def recommend this Isla Mujeres tour.

    • David Treacy

Thanks Paul! This is our favorite tour here for us too. Hard to beat it!

  31. Rachel Ju

The trip – I could have given a 5-star if the trip had cut the lunch stop so we would have more time on the water. We were given a 75-min free time on Island where we had time experiencing the local restaurant.
The Crew – Extremely nice and fun team to spend the day.
The Customer Service – Randy deserves a 6-star for his service on some of the hiccups we experienced. THANK YOU, Randy!

    • Wonderous World

=) Thanks for letting us know Rachel. I really love hearing that we have accomplished our task at making travelers time amazing while they are here in the Riviera! You are very welcome and hope to help you out in the future. Take care and happy travels!

  32. Alice

Good tour, no complaints. Whole day of fun.

  33. Micheal

Loved this tour! Booked 4 different tours on this trip but this one was by far my favorite. Unbeatable for $65 bucks! All day in beautiful caribbean waters, sailing, snorked at the underwater museum which was super cool, included as much food as you can eat on this amazing beach, oh and yes open bar the whole day!! Really not limited at all, they actually encouraged it haha depending on the crowd maybe not the best tour for children but man so much fun for us adults 🙂

  34. Margo Wilkinson

Myself and a friend did this sailing tour /day trip last year from Playa del Carmen ….shuttle picked up up there on a corner they specified. They came on time. Ride there was easy..dropped us off at he boats. We had our receipt for the driver and the boat office(showed receipt ) and they had groups we were put into for specific boats. Waited maybe 15 minutes to board. Boat was really nice ..there were quite a few people onboard..but plenty of room for everyone! Served us cold drinks (booze too) right away …then we sailed off! The snorkeling was okay…sorta rushed and lots of people . Then they let everyone do the trapeze in the sail. The best part I think (besides sailing! ) was the buffet lunch and a nice calm beach on Isla Mujeres…then plenty of time to chill out and snorkel and relax. Then…we sailed back to Cancun….all in all …a great day…I would do it again!! The water is sooooo pretty and the boat was really nice and clean and the staff did a wonderful job! Worth it…I give it a “10” !!!!

  35. Emer

This was a fantastic tour that fits in so much fun stuff in one day. I loved it. Sailing the caribbean waters off cancun in a fun-filled catamaran was a great way to meet people. We started off by snorkeling and got to see a small part of the underwater museum. Some people hopped on the spinnaker and jumped into the sea from the sail. After snorkelling, free drinks flowed, like beer, cocktails, soft drinks and the onboard staff are fantastic at keeping you topped up and having fun. We had about 2 hours to stroll around Isla Mujeres, enough time for souvenir shopping and swim?beach time. Then a delicious beachfront buffet lunch before sailing home with party music and more drinks. Definitely worth every penny!

  36. will robson

the tour was great absolutely no complaints. the tour itself was amazing and the crew on the boat were incredibly helpful and friendly. and the customer service offered by wonderous world really went above and beyond. Ill definitely be using them again next time im in mexico

  37. Steve & Ann

Wow! The catamaran ride out to Isla Mujeres is sensational. The supervised snorkeling over the coral reef is a dip inside your rich friend´s seawater aquarium. Adventurous youngsters mooned people on other boats then took turns riding the spinnaker up over the waves before sliding back into the drink. Meanwhile we older and saltier pirates merely slid back into our own free drinks (cervezas, tequila sunrises, ron punches, etc.) Overall a rejuvenating “jackass gas”. Steve & Ann, Port Townsend, WA
