Reports from the U.S. Department of State and the Mexican Government on improved security conditions in most of the territory of Mexico are creating a climate in which the population in the USA is regaining confidence towards travel and investment activities in Mexico.

Pasadena, CA (PRWEB) May 06, 2014

“Millions of U.S. citizens safely visit Mexico each year for study, tourism, and business, including more than 150,000 who cross the border every day,” the State Department report said.* It also observed that “The Mexican government dedicates substantial resources to protect visitors to major tourist destinations, and there is no evidence that criminal organizations have targeted U.S. visitors or residents based on their nationality.” The report added that “Resort areas and tourist destinations in Mexico generally do not see the levels of drug-related violence and crime that are reported in the border region or in areas along major trafficking routes”. In addition, the U.S Embassy in Mexico is estimating that the number of American Citizens currently living in Mexico is now in excess of one million and growing.

The improved conditions are reflected in the results of Mexico insurance purchased by Americans. “The demand for insurance products for Mexico, such as tourist and resident auto policies, homeowner’s insurance, boat insurance, and commercial policies is very active, and the frequency and severity of losses to American Policyholders in Mexico has been decreasing steadily over the past 12 months” said Jose A. Cacho-Sousa Jr., MexiPass product manager.

For the past 25 years, MexiPass has been monitoring the risk exposures of American Interests in Mexico. “Mexico has unique challenges in protecting persons and their assets, when compared to the USA. Typical Mexican insurance products are inadequate for American standards due to differences in language, legal system and culture. To overcome this, MexiPass has developed products of similar quality to United States insurance policies. This is what we call Mexican Insurance, The American Way!” Cacho-Sousa said.
Insurance agents that haven’t used MexiPass often find that it’s hard for them to interpret which policies would be the correct coverage for their clients. Founded in 1989, MexiPass has revolutionized the industry by making it simple for insurance agencies that cater to travelers and expatriates to easily provide their clients with insurance policies that do not force them to settle for less than they are accustomed to. By developing unique partnerships with the most prestigious Mexican Insurance companies, MexiPass now has a variety of personal and commercial insurance products that their partners can offer to their clients. They provide Mexican Insurance…the American way!
